Our standard
Sidra Honey exists for one reason: to bring genuinely fine honey to people who care about what they eat. We import from Yemen, from the valleys of Duaan for our signature sidr and from the sumr trees of the dry interior for our Sumra, and we bottle every harvest raw, unfiltered, and in small batches.
We name our origins, grade our batches honestly, and answer questions about each harvest's journey. Finest grade is not a decoration on the label. It is the standard we hold every jar to.
How grades are decided
There is no single international ruler for honey grades, so sellers use the word loosely. When we grade a batch, we look at four things together: the source of the nectar, the harvest window, and what you can see and taste in the jar — colour uniformity, texture, and the intensity of the aroma.
Raw and unfiltered
Raw honey is honey exactly as it left the hive — strained only to remove wax, never heated, never finely filtered. Heat and heavy filtering make honey look uniform on a shelf, but they flatten the very enzymes, aromas and fine particles that give each harvest its character.
Know what is in the jar
Every batch is documented. Batch details and test documents are available on request, so you can see where your honey came from before you buy.
